Mild
cerebral palsy is easier to manage when cerebral palsy
injuries are not severe. Symptoms are not as apparent
and disruptive with mild cerebral palsy. Parents and
doctors are less likely to even realize that a baby
has mild cerebral palsy until later when, usually the
parents, realize there are certain signs. In some instances
of mild cerebral palsy the individual can live a life
that is barely affected by the condition.
Cerebral
palsy occurs before birth, during birth, or just after
birth when the area of the brain responsible for controlling
movement and motor function has been suffered. A mild
cerebral palsy case will have a lesser amount of impaired
control of movement and motor function. A more aggressive
approach to treat mild cerebral palsy is not usually
necessary. Since cerebral palsy is a body movement
and posture disorder, even a mild cerebral palsy instance
will cause some degree of effect.
